About Us
Alsalamu Alaikum!
Here at Dar Al-Taqwa school our mission is to educate children on the language of the Quran in order for the kids to read and understand the Quran better. In addition to learning the Arabic language, your child will learn how to recite the Quran with tajweed and memorize various surahs. Your child will also gain a variety of Islamic knowledge, including Aqueedah, Sunnah, Islamic history (stories of the prophets), and how to pray. The program is separated in 10 different levels based on age. We accept a wide range of children from age 5 up to age 16. Sunday school is beneficial for all children, because they learn about Islam in a school setting and interact with other Muslim children. Sunday school is a place where the kids can feel a part of the Muslim community.
Starters
Our Starters program is for our youngest students and serves as a preparation for the Elementary level of instruction.
Elementary
In our Elementary program, students will receive textbooks and workbooks to guide them with Islamic Studies exercises.
Junior Girls/Boys
At this level, girls and boys are separated to continue their Islamic studies. Students will delve deeper into the meanings..
